Luneburg lens multi-beam antenna (2~48 beams) Luneburg lens antenna is a new antenna form researched on new material technology. Compared with common antenna technology, it has great advantages. First, the characteristics of the system: high speed, low latency, large capacity

Second, Luneburg lens principle      
In 1944, R.K. Luneburg proposed the concept of the Lombor lens based on geometric optics. The Lonber lens antenna is a spherically symmetric medium retardation lens whose function of refractive index changes with radius is:        n=(2-r/R)1/2
r is the radial distance from the center of the sphere and R is the radius of the sphere. When r = R, n = 1, in the center of the sphere (r = 0) n = 2 .
The Lombor lens has the property of concentrating incident plane waves to the focal point of the ball's facing position. With the Lombor lens antenna, signals from multiple directions can be received simultaneously, as long as the ball surface can accommodate all feeds or other receiving devices. Simply move the feed position to change the direction of the beam received or transmitted.
