Luneberg lens antenna technology principle
Luneberg lens antenna technology principle
The principle of Luneburg lens is a kind of ideal electromagnetic lens which was proposed by The German physicist R.K. Luneburg in 1944 based on geometric optics method and obtained by mathematical model. The electromagnetic wave through the lens is refracted to form a plane wave; Plane wave has low energy loss in the transmission process and is more conducive to high frequency propagation.

COMPARISON OF
REGULATION PRINCIPLES
Comparison of electrical modulation principle
The lens antenna only needs to change the spatial position of a single radiation unit (feed) to change the focus of electromagnetic wave convergence, which is easy to achieve. Common antenna needs to change the whole feed network, increase the phase shifter and other components, a large number of welding points, internal noise increases synchronously.
