The bridge is 1,450 meters long. The standard antennas at the base stations on either end had an effective coverage range of only 500 meters, leaving the central section of the bridge without coverage. After replacing them with Yuehaixin Longbo spherical lens antennas, the effective coverage range increased to 1,000 meters, resulting in a comprehensive improvement in service performance across the entire length of the bridge.

The Yachi River Special Bridge on the Chengdu–Guiyang High-Speed Railway has a total length of 971 meters, with a main span of 436 meters. During construction, the project innovatively adopted the segmental cast-in-place method using cable-supported scaffolding, and introduced innovations and optimizations in construction techniques such as cable extension, scaffold hoisting, and alignment control. At the same time, through independent

research and design, the team developed China’s largest-scale transverse-travel cable crane of its kind and secured multiple patents, including “A Construction Method for Concrete Casing Around Steel Arch Ribs in Steel Truss Arch Bridges.” The project pioneered several new processes and technologies, such as secondary transverse travel and the cable-and-scaffold method.

As the bridge with the longest span on the Chengdu–Guiyang High-Speed Railway, it represented the cutting-edge level of high-speed railway bridge construction technology at the time.
